Another Sunday, another lunch out. Our friend Dorothy came up with a restaurant in Subic, called Slabs Diner and Steakhouse. The big parking lot was empty so we could park almost in front of the front door. A waiter already opened the door but we went to the public playground first. Jace was having the time of his life there.

Slabs Diner and Steakhouse - Food Dude's Review
Upon entering the restaurant later I noticed how 'open' it was. I immediately liked the ambiance. Even more so after someone mentioned the huge chandelier. So, the decor was really perfect. Not a usual one for sure.

Now get the party started. First, a lovely appetizer: Nachos, served plain so we could top it with meat and a variety of extras. A very good idea I have to say. This festival for our taste buds continued with a 3 Cheese Pizza, Rib Eye, Babu Back Ribs, and Salmon Alfredo. Baby Jace, who is actually not a baby anymore but a young, charming boy of 20 months old, got chicken nuggets with potato fries. We were all satisfied and speaking for myself; I easily could have had two pizzas. It was good.

How much better can I describe something that is good? Will superb do? Perfecto? It was not just only about the food actually. It was a sum of everything together; the accommodation and its ambiance and not to forget the friendly staff.

Truth must be known that it was quite costly but again, it, of course, consists altogether. On Tripadvisor, I was surprised to see some bad comments and I really cannot see why. How about I let the pictures speak for themselves? Despite the two bad comments, I can recommend the place.
