Punta Belle Nature Resort in Hermosa, Bataan opened its doors to nature and outdoor lovers in 2010.  Situated beside a creek, this nature park's swimming pools are filled with cold spring water. If you want to whip the heat of the summer and be close to nature, Punta Belle can be the right place. With multiple swimming pools, kids and adults will have a fun day swimming and plunging as well as strolling the area.

What to Expect at Punta Belle

• Swimming Pools

Six swimming pools are available at the park for kids and adult. There are two covered swimming pools for kids and a huge open pool at the far north  side of the resort. Small water slides are also available for kids. The deepest pool, however, wasn't deep for diving and was a bit untidy during our visit.

•  Cottages, Nipa Huts, Function Room

Cottages beside the pools are quite decent as well as those beside the creek. Nipa huts, cabanas, and function rooms are also available.

• Activity Area

The place has a nice lawn conducive for parties, team building, and other corporate events. There is also a volleyball court.

• Mini Hiking

On the northern part of the resort across from a bridge, there's a garden with a big chair, a grotto with a huge cross good for instagrammable pictures.

• Restaurant and Souvenir Shop

A restaurant and souvenir shop is located right after you enter the Punta Belle resort. We ordered longsilog because that was the only food available. The souvenir shop has no staff looking after it.

• Vegetable Garden Visit

We were able to visit a vegetable garden unintentionally while we were strolling the area. I am not sure though if they allow visitors but you can ask the staff. You can get there after crossing a wooden bridge behind the rooms. Maybe you can purchase fresh vegetables there too.

Getting There:

From Manila: Take a Victory Liner Bus bound for Olongapo or Iba (make SURE the bus will take Olongapo-Gapan-Road, not SCTEX). Tell the driver to drop you at Naparing in Hermosa Bataan and mention you're going to Punta Belle Resort. A huge signboard of Punta Belle will be the landmark. From there, take a trike to Punta Belle. Total travel time from Manila to Punta Belle takes more than two hours including bus stops.

From Zambales: Take a Victory Bus bound for Manila or San Fernando. Stop at Naparing in Hermosa, Bataan. Take a trike to Punta Belle.
