This waterfall lies in Sitio Kanawan Barangay Binaritan in Morong, Bataan. Its height is approximately 5 feet with a deep plunge pool. Hiking for twenty minutes from the Aeta Community (Magbukon Tribe), you'll find one of the recreational areas of the tribe.

 

How To Get to Tambangan Falls?


From Manila, getting to Tambangan Falls by public transportation has two options: via Olongapo-Subic Bay and via Balanga City in Bataan.

From Manila by Bus via Balanga City: Take Bataan Transit, Genesis, or Victory Liner bound for Balanga or Mariveles. Alight at the bus terminal and take a trike to Bataan Central Terminal. Take a mini-bus or jeep bound for Morong, Bataan. From Morong Terminal, take a trike to Kanawan Bridge. Hike to Kanawan Aeta Community. Ask for a guide.

From Manila by bus via Olongapo City: Take a Victory Liner or Saulog Bus bound for Olongapo or Iba, Zambales. Alight in Olongapo City Victory Liner terminal and take a yellow top jeep heading for Subic Bay Freeport Zone main gate. Alternatively, you can take a red top jeep. Stop at SM Olongapo and cross the bridge.
Before Mini-Stop Convenience Store, take a jeep or mini-bus bound for Morong. Tell the driver to drop you at Petron in Morong or simply Petron-Hilltop. From Petron, take a trike to Kanawan Bridge. From Kanawan Bridge, hike to Kanawan Aeta Community. Ask for a guide.
