We had walked quite a bit when our friends opted to have lunch. since we were close to Harbor Point Mall, I suggested going to Rustica Restaurant and it would be my treat.
Unlike our first time there when we were the only guests, this day the place was packed. We decided to go upstairs since there were two tables available there. I have no idea what is below down there but it made the floor vibrating. A special experience.

Rustica Restaurant Menu
It seemed that nobody was looking for entries and that made me pick two; small rolls with bamboo shoots and lettuce. It came with peanut sauce, including bits of peanuts. Very tasty.

The second appetizer was mushrooms sprinkled with roasted garlic on a bed of lettuce accompanied with a terrific sauce.

After we enjoyed these great appetizers, it was time for the main course.

| Sinigang Bangus Belly |
Sinigang Bangus belly that came with buchoy, horse radish, jalapeno, tomatoes, and gabi (a root crop). The broth is kinda thick. My friend said he prefers the one at Cocolime better.

The second grilled dish however that scored much, much better was the Grilled Squid, which also came with roasted garlic and spring onions. The dip was a soy sauce with kalamansi, spring onion, and red chili.

While eating and having some small talk, I noticed we had a good spot from where we could see practically every corner of the restaurant.

The place looks unlike the average Filipino restaurant because of the mix of the art of ancient woodcraft in quite a modern style. The interior design gives a pleasant feeling since its all done in a perfect style. That, of course, is my personal vision. Let the pictures speak for themselves.
